Job Brief: 

Atrina is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Quality Analyst Head the quality assurance efforts in our company. As QA Automation Head you will work on developing, managing, and distributing QA automation frameworks to support business requirements. Your expertise in quality assurance methodologies, attention to detail, and leadership skills will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of software quality within the organization.


Job Responsibilities:

  1. Define the overall QA strategy, objectives, and roadmap in alignment with the company's goals and software development processes.
  2. Establish QA policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistent quality across all software development projects.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, operations and other stakeholders, to define quality standards and requirements.
  4. Develop and implement robust quality assurance processes, including test planning, test case creation, and test execution.
  5. Define and enforce quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess software quality and track improvement.
  6. Lead the creation of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough coverage of software functionality.
  7. Design and implement testing methodologies, including manual and automated testing, to validate software quality and performance.
  8. Oversee the execution of test cases and coordinate with the QA team to ensure timely and accurate bug identification and resolution.
  9. Provide leadership and guidance to the QA team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management.
  10. Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the QA team and across the organization.
  11. Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration to enhance the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the QA function.
  12. Act as a trusted advisor on quality matters, providing insights and recommendations to drive product improvements and enhance user experience.
  13. Effectively communicate QA status, progress, and issues to management and stakeholders.
  14. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in quality assurance.
  15. Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive initiatives to enhance QA practices, tools, and methodologies.
  16. Conduct regular retrospectives to assess QA performance, gather feedback, and implement improvements.


Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. 4-5 years QA Lead Experience
  3. Proven experience as a Quality Analyst or similar role, with a focus on software development and quality assurance.
  4. In-depth knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  5. Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies.
  6. Experience in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  7. Familiarity with manual and automated testing tools.
  8. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.
  9. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  11. Quality assurance certifications are a plus.
